This week we’ll be looking at the company Nvidia.

For those that don’t know, here’s a brief overview of the company:

  • American semiconductor company

  • Leading global manufacturer of GPUs, with approx 80% of market share

  • Now benefitting from increase in demand for hardware that drives AI models

I’ve extracted some key quotes to describe the infographic from this article.

Since the AI boom, the key drivers of Nvidia’s revenue have shifted significantly.

This means thats the Nvidia’s main sources of income have changed a lot since AI became more popular.

Nvidia’s data center business has witnessed explosive growth, accelerating 409% compared to the fourth quarter of last year.

Notice how much more powerful ‘explosive’ and ‘accelerating’ are for emphasising the size and speed of the growth - much better than just using ‘big’ and ‘increasing’

Looking ahead, Nvidia’s graphics chips will likely make up a greater share of revenues as demand continues to grow.

In the future, we can expect an even higher percentage of revenue to come from sales of graphic chips.
